About the FPA

The Fairmont San Juan Capistrano Parent Association is a parent-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit, legally and organizationally separate from Fairmont Schools, existing entirely in service of the SJC campus community. We fund classroom and campus needs, organize events, and coordinate volunteers — extending the same close-knit, Fairmont-family feeling into everything we do.

Fairmont Parent Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 33-0576063). Payments may be tax-deductible — consult an accounting professional for details.

Board & officers

• Crystal N. — President

  I’m Crystal, and I’m a proud Fairmont mom of two (PreK/1st), and I’m honored to serve as the FPA President.

  Fairmont is so much more than a school to our family. It’s a place where our children are supported, encouraged, and surrounded by teachers, staff, and families who genuinely care about them. I’m a firm believer in showing up, getting involved, and volunteering — not only for our own children, but for the entire school community.

  Being on the board means so much to me because it gives me the opportunity to contribute, connect with other families, support our incredible teachers and staff, and help create experiences and memories our kids will carry with them for years to come.

  I’m really looking forward to continuing to build a strong, welcoming community at Fairmont — one where families feel connected, supported, and excited to be involved. I’m grateful to have the opportunity to give back to a school and community that means so much to our family, and I’m excited for everything we’ll accomplish together!

• Mai C. — Vice President

  Hi! I’m Mai, and I’m so happy to be serving as Vice President of the Fairmont SJC Parent Association this year. I have two kids at Fairmont SJC, 8th and 1st — and this is our 4th school year as part of the Fairmont community.

  I have a degree in Architecture and over 15 years of customer service experience, but these days one of the things I enjoy most is being involved at school. I love volunteering, meeting other families, helping wherever I can, and finding ways to make the school year a little more fun and memorable for our kids.

  I strongly believe a strong school community makes the experience better for everyone, and I’m really looking forward to serving on our FPA board, getting to know more Fairmont families, and hopefully having a lot of fun along the way!

• Tinus S. — Treasurer

  Hi, I’m Tinus! I serve as Treasurer on the FPA board this year, alongside my role as head of strategy and finance at T3 Sixty, a residential real estate consultancy. I have three littles, two at Fairmont, and I’ve found Fairmont has become a real anchor for our family.

  I bring a strategist’s eye and a builder’s instinct to whatever I take on — whether that’s steering the books for the FPA or finding better ways to bring people and ideas together. I love this community and I’m glad to put that energy toward keeping it running well.
