About this site
This website (fairmontpa.com, or the domain currently in use) is operated by the Fairmont San Juan Capistrano Parent Association ("FPA," "we," "us"), an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 33-0576063) serving Fairmont SJC families. The FPA is legally and organizationally separate from Fairmont Schools and is not operated by the school.
Use of this site
This site provides information about FPA events, volunteer opportunities, donations, and merchandise. By using this site, you agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in a way that doesn't infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use of, this site by anyone else.
Donations and payments
Donations made through this site are processed by Givebutter, a third-party payment processor — the FPA's own systems never receive or store your card details. Donations are subject to Givebutter's own terms of service. Any merch purchases will similarly be processed by a third-party payment provider once checkout is live; merchandise purchases are not tax-deductible donations.
Intellectual property
Fairmont San Juan Capistrano's name, Warrior mascot, and related marks are used on this site with the school's permission and remain the property of Fairmont Schools. Original FPA content — event descriptions, board information, and similar material — belongs to the FPA.
Third-party links
This site links to third-party services (including Givebutter and, when relevant, Fairmont Schools' own website). We don't control and aren't responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of those sites.
No warranty
This site and its content are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We try to keep information (event dates, times, and locations especially) accurate and current, but errors can happen — please confirm time-sensitive details directly with the FPA if anything seems off.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the FPA is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
