Special Persons Day

There’s no single definition of a “special person” on this day, and that’s the point — it’s whoever a student wants to invite in to see their classroom, meet their teacher, and spend a morning being part of their school life. For a lot of families it’s grandparents flying in specifically for it; for others, it’s a neighbor or family friend who’s earned the title. Either way, the morning tends to end in a lot of hugs and a few damp eyes.
